Project Administrator - Head Office

South Africa's leading corporate player in the development and management of property and the leisure sector, currently has the following opportunity at Head Office in Port Shepstone. In accordance with the Employment Equity Plan of the Group, preference shall be given, but not limited to, candidates from the designated groups.

An exciting opportunity with this dynamic and fast-growing business awaits the right candidate. This is a busy, high-volume but friendly environment that will suit an organised person with a great eye for detail and plenty of team spirit.

Reporting directly to the Directors, you will be adept at managing and overseeing multiple projects. This will include investigating and analysing information, liaising with stakeholders (internal and external), and reporting. The project administrator will provide the required liaison, documentation and everyday coordination of projects, while ensuring all projects are risk managed, budgeted effectively and delivered in a timely manner.

  • Planning, executing, monitoring and closing projects
  • Performing quality assurance and risk management
  • Project budget and management reports
  • Engaging with stakeholders and managing relationships
  • Conducting status review meetings
  • Providing reports and documentation on project stage and progress.

Position Requirements:

  • At least three years' experience in a project administration role
  • Project Management Certification will be an advantage
  • Strong organisational skills, including attention to detail, multitasking and time management
  • High level of competence in using Microsoft Suite and experience with various project management software tools
  • Solid communication skills with a consultative approach to engaging with stakeholders
  • Above average Numeracy and Analytical skills.

A financial background will be an added advantage with above average excel skills. Projects will be managed utilising Agile and other Project Management methodologies.
